Introduction

| This contest is all about designing a girlfriend/mate for my character, Howie. Howie has been entered in two contests of the same type, and lost in both. But that's all right! Now the tables have been turned, and Howie is sure to get a girlfriend this time! I'm definitely excited about this competition, and I hope you all are as well. |

Howie Info



| Howie is a Dingo/Hyena mix. He grew up in Africa with his mother, Arendra, and never knew his father in his early puppy-hood. His whole pack was killed in a battle against a great lion pride, and Howie was left to fend for himself. After wandering far and wide, he stowed away on a small, American tuna boat which later crashed on the shore of a small island off the coast of Australia. He was brought to the leader of a dingo pack known as the Rust-Feather Tribe, and discovered that the leader, Rundy, was his father. Once he heard the sad tale of his half-sister, Allaine, he set off towards America by stowing away yet again on a small boat. Now he resides in southern California, and travels often.

His hobbies are digging (which he likes quite a bit), eating, and lounging around. He is seventeen years old, and loves getting into trouble. He's playful, and suave, and quite the smooth talker. He does not like girly girls, preps, or overly clean dogs. His voice would sound much like a combination between these two songs: [link] [link] ((both have one or two words that parents may not approve of)), whereas the second link would be his theme song.

Most likely, Howie would like an adventurous girl that likes to travel, seeing as he does a lot of traveling himself. A level-headed girl would also be a good idea, to balance him out and keep him calm in a hectic situation. |

Rules

The character you enter must be a canine, though it doesn't matter what breed.
The character you enter must be a female.
You do not have to have top-notch drawing skills to win.
The character you enter must have some sort of background story. This will be checked for in the "Artist's Comments" section.
The character you enter must be a quad or have a quad form, which should be shown in a picture somewhere.
Your entry does not have to be new. It can be one of your current characters, or a character that you entered in another contest and didn't win.
All entries should be sent to me in the form of a note, or in the form of a comment in this journal.

...A fully colored and shaded picture with any background of their choice and a maximum of five characters.

...A fully colored, shaded picture of any two characters with their choice, and any background color of their choice.

3rd Place Winner will receive
...A flat-colored picture of one character of their choice with a white background.
